My name is Clarence Johnson and I created the concept of this photoblog with strong support from my wife and WordPress helped me achieve it. My introduction to prescription eyewear began when I was 16. Full of ambition and like all other sixteen year olds, I wanted to get my driver’s license. In the province of Ontario–back in the day–getting your driver’s license was a fairly easy process. Learners. Driving school/education. Examination.
Obtaining the Learner’s permit (a.k.a. the “365″) was two-stage process–multiple choice examination and eye test. The written examination was a breeze but the eye test was a blurry awakening for me. I failed the eye test and had to return with eyeglasses.
My taste in eyewear styles has improved over the years. Gone are the days of the “Ghetto” eyeglasses from Public Optical where I had to wait a week for my first pair. I currently have two different pairs. Around the house I wear my Ray-Ban titanium frames equipped with LensCrafter’s FeatherWates lenses; outside, I wear Oakley’s Jacknife 4.0 equipped with Nikon’s HCC lenses which are outstanding!!
My workflow includes the following hardware and software tools: Canon 40D D-SLR, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Photoshop, and WordPress. I can be reached by clicking here
